We utilse our experience to create unique and stimulating projects with young people & communities.

Whitewood & Fleming was established in 1985 by Artistic Directors Elaine Whitewood and Tim Fleming. We are an artist led company, all our work is original.

Our main aim is to provide access to a wide range of high quality professional and participatory arts experiences for people from all walks of life. 

We especially target those who rarely access the arts and their own creativity first hand. Our specialist area is working with vulnerable and traumatised young people, often these are children & young people looked after.

Tim and Elaine work with a team of freelance artists, all of whom have been working with the company for several years. They all posess many and various skills within their own art forms. We find that this makes us very flexible and adaptable as a company - we are able to create arts projects using a wide variety of art forms, all inspired by the context.
